Hello adventurers! We here at Adventurewith.ca have been planning an expedition, and we thought that we’d share the process here with you! This video is the first in a series where-in we demonstrate our planning process start to finish, and then bring you along (virtually) on a multi-day canoe trip! In this first installment, we discuss risk management, location overview, general supplies, food-prep, and budget. The intention is that keen explorers can use this video as a guide to how they should approach their own personal expedition meetings. Most importantly, be proactive! Sit down and plan, and then plan again. Embarking on an adventure is logistically complex and inherently dangerous, and its imperative that all group members understand the intricacies of an expedition.
